After almost 9 years of having Thomas a colleague in the lab from young PhD candidate to postdoc fellow, we are now saying farewell to Thomas with a promise of comeback, when he will obtain his Mobility fellowship and after adventures in other countries.
We have many good memories and a lot of challenges, from defending his PhD during Covid times to keeping mice alive in when animal facility went through massive renovations. This on top of training a lot of master students and younger PhD fellows, and raising 2 small kids (and a dog) at home. During his time in the lab, Thomas was a co-author on 13 publications, including his own study on the effect of endocrine disrupting chemicals on pancreatic differentiation, a subject that Thomas would like to pursue further.

We still hope it’s not goodbye, but it’s see you later!
But in any case we are wishing you the absolute best!
