Georg Cato Seeberg will start working on his Master Thesis for one year in our lab (2024-2025) as part of Master in Biomedical Sciences organised by the Department of Biomedicine.
Georg will work with Lucas under the supervision of Simona on the role of HNF1A in directing cell differentiation during tissue formation using as a model human induced pluripotent stem cells.
Georg will be trained in cellular and molecular biology techniques, including cell cultures (iPSC colonies), in vitro targeted differentiation, SC-islets formation and processing, immunofluorescence staining, large-scale imaging (dragonfly) and confocal microscopy, image analysis (Imaris), genotyping (PCR), RNA sequencing and pathway analysis (IPA).
