Lucas Unger has joined our research group as a new PhD candidate. Welcome, Lucas!
Lucas completed his Bachelor studies at Heidelberg University, and his Master studies at Technical University Darmstadt. He has practical experience in advanced cellular and molecular biology such as molecular cloning, cell culture, cell transfection, immunoassays, protein purification, protein-protein interaction assays, mutagenesis, CRISPR/CAS, fluorescence staining and imaging. Lucas will study the molecular mechanisms involved in cell fate determination and maintenance of different pancreatic islet cell populations.
